Been gone too long
All I ever do is work and sleep.. But I did visit the Philippines about two weeks ago. Stayed there for 3 days and had a fucking blast, even though I was basically in hurry 100% of the time. Got plastered on the first night and laughed a lot as well. Havent laughed as much and as loudly as I did that night in my whole 11 months here in SG. Also got to see Sic and I’ll have to admit, I did cry a bit. It just sucks to be away from him, s’all.
Both my brothers are here now too. I dragged them with me, and that made their girlsfriends cry. It’s nice to know that I wasnt the only one who cried like a pansy that weekend. Heehee.
Anyway, gotta get up from the floor now. Im going “malling” with my brothers in a bit.

You’ve been assigned an identity since birth. Then you spend the rest of your life walking around in it to see if it really fits. You try on all these different selves and abandon just as many. But really it’s about dismantling all that false armor, getting down to what’s real.
Ugh, still having a hard time finishing it.
By the way. New shorts, new blazer, new shoes & considering changing my hair color. Although, I reckon I wouldnt actually go through with it. Just couldnt be bothered retouching the roots.
Ah, blah.
Today is the last day of my short lived freedom. Been doing this for a little over a month but waking up in the morning is becoming more and more of a major effort. Plus, it sucks to be doing something you know you suck at everyday. This blows.

| Anonymous : hi i'm mickey! i have black hair originally but i had just bleached it at a color like yours (though i have a pixie cut). i wanted to ask you how soon do you retouch the bleach when your roots start to show? like three weeks? is it safe? and do you bleach your entire hair or just the roots? cos if you do the whole thing don't you end up with silvery-white old person hair since it gets lighter? or if you just touch up the roots,it's impossible to match the colors of the whole thing right?? help! |
hey. basically, you just do the exact same thing you did when you bleached your hair. but this time, just do it with the regrowth. you should probably wait a month or whatevs, so the regrowth would be like, long enough that when you bleach the flip out of it, the gunk doesnt touch your scalp. ………….something like that. sorry I couldnt be more helpful. I suppose you’d be able to find a more meaningful/useful/accurate answer to your question on google though. goodluck, mickey | |

Wish I had more to blog about but unfortunately nothing much has been going on with me other than trying and greatly failing to re-read Going Bovine (for some reason, I cant get past page 10), hoping that I might get a bigger bang out of it this time. Oh! And my immensely tiring job! Not to mention the 5 caps and tabs that I need to take every day so that Id quit passing the fuck out in the middle of conversations I have with people I pretend to give a flip about. In short, my life’s going great. And Im only being half sarcastic!

Fruits of my being an impulsive shopper. Oh and that hat. Finally. I picked it up during my first trip to the newly opened H&M store a few weeks ago with Vicky. I also picked up a Doors shirt that day, which I gave to my mum. And that’s about it. I mean, wasnt too impressed with what they had.
Anyway. Been busy with my new job. I work 4 days a week. I study music atleast once a week(work related). And I usually spend the remaining 2 days in bed eating yogurt while watching the latest episodes of Gossip Girl and How I met your Mother(like gaaaad when is the new season of Misfits coming out)/thinking about Jim Sturgess. Basically Ive been spending most of my time being productive, something I havent done in a long time. Hopefully all of this’ll pay off. Not as amazing as I hoped it would though for sure, cause my trip to Manila which was supposed to be next month has now been officially cancelled and has been moved to March next year. Colossal sack of dicks, I was already looking forward to rekindling with my old habits (atleast for a short while) and having fun. You know, fun-fun. But no. No isaw. No ganja. No Sic. No nothing. Well atleast my brothers will probably be moving here before Christmas. But then again that means my dad’ll probably be alone on Christmas and that kind of fucks me up.
